The Beris Lake Vineyard is managed by Excel Agrotech Sdn. Bhd. and has a land area size of 34 acres. It is the first grape vineyard in Kedah, proven a big success in commercial grape growing of species such as Black Opal, Black Grape, White Malaga and Loose Pelite. The vineyard also has been visited by the Royal Highness of Kedah, DYTM Raja Muda Kedah. The vineyard is strategically located beside the scenic Beris Lake at the first bridge over the lake, where a welcome signboard will leads visitors direct to the farm. Visitors will have a wonderful experience touring around the vineyard to learn about grapes growing process from planting to harvesting.

Bukit Kayu Hitam is Kedah's main border town on the Malaysia-Thailand Border. It marks the end of the North-South Expressway and Malaysia Federal Route 1, the longest Malaysian road which runs from Johor Bahru, Johor in the south till the border at Bukit Kayu Hitam pass. The checkpoint and duty free shopping complex is located near the border. Across the border to the north is the town of Ban Dan Nok in the district of Sadao, Songkhla province in Southern Thailand. Alor Setar Tower is a 165.5 m (543 ft) telecommunication tower in Alor Setar, in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. Apart from serving the role of a telecommunication tower, it also caters as a tourist destination for the town. The tower also houses some restaurants and a souvenir shop. The tower is an observatory tower to look for the crescent moon to mark the beginning of Muslim months such as Ramadhan, Shawwal, and Zulhijjah, to celebrate Ramadhan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha, respectively. The observation deck is at a height of 88 m (289 ft) from the base of the structure.
