Kastelruth (Italian: Castelrotto; German: Kastelruth; Archaic (982AD): Castellorupto; Latin: Castellum Ruptum) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 20 km northeast of the city of Bolzano (Bozen).
